Ian Wright admits he is ‘jealous’ of Tottenham’s transfer window so far and predicts Antonio Conte’s side will ’cause problems’ next season.

Spurs beat the Gunners in the race for the top four last season as they secured Champions League football for the upcoming campaign.

The north London club have gone on to back Conte with signings such as Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have brought in Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City, along with Fabio Vieira, Marquinhos and Matt Turner.

The Gunners are also said to be confident of sealing a £30million deal to sign Youri Tielemans from Leicester City.

But given the squad they already have, with the likes of Harry Kane and Cristian Romero, plus the new signings, Wright thinks Spurs look ‘frightening’.

‘I feel Tottenham are going to cause problems,’ the Arsenal legend said on the Wrighty’s House podcast.

‘You can’t not be jealous of that summer, especially coming from the other side of north London.

‘They are frightening, man. Everything we are doing at Arsenal, and I am putting on as my armour. But we have done this. We have Viera. We have two number 10s now. And we are still trying for [Youri] Tielemans. And we have Gabriel Jesus.

‘So, you are trying to arm yourself because the Tottenham fans are saying “Well, we have Bissouma now, Richarlison, [Harry] Kane, then [Rodrigo] Bentancur is going to kick in and we have seen what [Cristian] Romero is about”.

‘When you look at how Tottenham can flex when they are doing it under this manager, it kind of makes me feel s***.’
