Cregis Launches New Regional Office in Dubai to Enhance Crypto Infrastructure in UAE

British Weekly September 4, 2024

In August 2024, Cregis, an enterprise crypto infrastructure services provider, announced the opening of its new regional office in Dubai, marking a major milestone in its global expansion strategy. With a strong foundation in blockchain technology, the Dubai office will serve as Cregis' strategic hub in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, driving growth in the Middle East and adjacent markets.

Since its establishment in 2017, Cregis has been headquartered in Hong Kong and has an office in Singapore. The opening of the Dubai office is not only an important step in Cregis' global strategy but also reflects its confidence in the potential of the Middle East market.

Cregis aims to bring cutting-edge Web3 technologies to the Middle East and provide robust crypto infrastructure support to local payment companies and Web3 teams, including advanced crypto asset management, payment processing solutions and fostering local innovation and development in crypto technology.

Cregis' global strategy is evident not only in its geographical expansion but also in the continuous improvement of its technology and services. The company has successfully served over 3,500 businesses, facilitated daily transactions worth up to $50 million, created over 100 million addresses and secured over $60 billion worth of crypto assets.

In addition, Cregis has partnered with teams such as European regulated exchange ZBX to provide our clients and partners with reliable technical solutions in terms of compliant crypto payment processing and ensuring the security of on-chain transactions for users.

Shawn Yan, Founder and CEO of Cregis, stated: “Cregis is actively pursuing its global expansion strategy. By opening a regional office in Dubai, we aim to leverage our technological expertise and industry experience to drive growth in the Middle East and expand into Africa and Europe, with Dubai as a central hub.” This strategic move will further cement Cregis' position in the global crypto market and provide greater value to businesses and users in the region.

Cregis' core offerings include a comprehensive suite of crypto asset solutions that combine wallet-as-a-service (WaaS) and payment engine to ensure high levels of security while efficiently managing assets. Cregis' WaaS enables enterprises to quickly integrate wallets without having to build them from scratch and provides complete transaction APIs and developer documentation. The self-custodial MPC wallet allows users to control private keys, supports multiple signature management, and is ideal for complex asset management collaborations. The payment engine helps traditional merchants easily accept and manage cryptocurrencies from multiple blockchains and regions, enables automated T+0 settlements, thus addressing the challenges of crypto payments and settlements for traditional businesses, applicable to online e-commerce and offline retail scenarios.

With the opening of the Dubai office, Cregis will further accelerate its global business expansion, further enhance its crypto technology services and provide more innovation and value to its customers worldwide.
