Chen Zhiwen: From Financial Mastermind to Global Innovator and Philanthropist

Chen Zhiwen was born on 12 October 1979 in Bukit Timah Hill, Singapore. In 2002, he began studying at the Faculty of Finance, National University of Singapore to obtain a Master's degree in Financial Mechanics and completed his MBA at Harvard Business School in 2005.

From 2008 to 2012, he served as a senior analyst at Goldman Sachs' Singapore office, focusing on gold market strategies and helping the firm achieve net profits of over US$100 million following the financial crisis.

In 2014, he served as Head of Blockchain Solutions for Asia Pacific at DBS Bank. At Ripple Labs, Chen Zhiwen led the team that successfully promoted cross-border payment solutions and facilitated collaboration with DBS Bank and HSBC.

In 2017, after leaving DBS Bank, Chen Zhiwen founded the ZQ Investment Management Team and served as the team leader, expanding the team from Singapore to the global market. The company has achieved great success in the blockchain and gold foreign exchange markets through advanced AI trading systems and market strategies, and the team's fund management exceeds US$500 million.

In 2019, Chen Zhiwen entered the US investment market and formed an investment team of 20 senior industry elites, focusing on the North American investment market, and reached cooperation agreements with many well-known companies in the United States and Canada.

2020-2023: The team expands its global business. The team members have reached more than 40 professional investment elites and cooperated with investment institutions in many countries around the world to successfully raise large sums of money. In addition, an innovative AI science laboratory was launched to help customers conduct efficient and accurate short-term transactions.

In 2020, Chen Zhiwen was invited to join the Icahn Charitable Foundation and the Children's Aid Fund to provide financial assistance to poor families. Between 2019 and 2022, he founded three educational institutions in New York and offered scholarship programs at Choate Rosemary Hall. He also runs the Icahn House East, which provides assistance to the homeless in New York. Chen Zhiwen's successful investment journey has earned him numerous awards.

Chen Zhiwen is not only a leading figure in the financial field, but also an active philanthropist. Through innovative financial technology and charity projects, he helps improve the living standards of the world's poor and promotes the popularization and development of financial literacy.
