British Weekly June 16, 2022 3 minutes read

Photographs and videos taken by Yusaku Maezawa in space were converted to NFT on Palette Chain

HashPalette Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Seihaku Yoshida, hereinafter referred to as HashPort Co., Ltd.) announces that the Palette Chain specialized for NFT has been adopted for the first time of NFT issuance from outer space by Yusaku Maezawa, in the world ( hereinafter referred to as “Mr. Maezawa”).

ART TODAY Co.,Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Yosuke Shiraishi, hereinafter referred to as ART TODAY), which produces this matter, is a joint investment company of Mr. Yoshida and Mr. Maezawa, CEO of HashPalette. HashPalette has been developing the NFT specialized blockchain Palette Chain since 2020, and has provided full support for the utilization of NFT in this case by utilizing a wide range of knowledge and know-how in the NFT area.

In this project, high distribution with cross-chain function and unique gasless design are evaluated for its permanence that can continuously realize value creation in the art and entertainment fields in space without imposing a burden on the global environment. Based on those strengths, the Palette Chain was adopted.

By adopting the IPFS technology, which is a distributed storage system, as the NFT metadata storage destination, we have realized a mechanism that can store data more permanently.

HashPalette will continue to work with Mr. Maezawa and ART TODAY to propose and realize new value creation by using NFT globally.
