LSC Provides the ELECTRICORE® Smart Electrification System for Automakers to Build LEV

British Weekly December 24, 2021 3 minutes read

Taiwan has the highest motorcycle density in the world and has the advantage of being the “Kingdom of Motorcycles” in the light vehicle industry.

LSC Ecosystem Corporation, a Taiwan-based expert in smart electrification system integration, has independently developed the most advanced electrical system in the automotive industry for two years. It integrates the products of supply chain manufacturers to provide bespoke systems integration services for vehicle manufacturers that enable customers to effectively enter the vehicle electrification market. The system was officially presented in November at the EICMA Motorcycle Show 2021.

The ELECTRICORE® intelligent electrification system comprises four product categories: DRIVE, SMARTKIT, CLOUD and INTELLIGENCE, which can apply to light vehicles on water and on land, including LEVs which can be extended to three- or four-wheeled vehicles. ELECTRICORE® is a modular system that can be adapted to the customer’s product properties and driving scenarios in order to optimize the user experience.

The most important feature of the DRIVE is its streamlined configuration of the key components and the lightweight design, which greatly improves the performance in rough road conditions for off-road conditions.

The application scenarios for light electric off-road vehicles presented at EICMA 2021 have aroused many inquiries and great interest from many branded automobile manufacturers. The equipped DRIVE, the electric drive module, can significantly improve the performance in rough road conditions for off-road conditions. The streamlined configuration of the key components and the lightweight design were well received and appreciated. As far as the energy supplement is concerned, the system can be designed flexibly as a charging or battery exchange system.

The electric utility vehicle is equipped with a complete intelligent electrification system that integrates drive and intelligent devices with bluetooth, edge computing, cloud management backend and data analysis services and realizes the commercial trend of future market demand. It conforms to the international IEC standard and supports fast charging and slow charging; It can be charged from 20% to 80% in 30 minutes for fast charging and 6 hours for slow charging, with a maximum range of at least 150 km and a standard charging weight of up to 200 kg.

LSC Co-Founder and CEO Mort SC Lin said, “We currently have nearly 10 patented technologies and our customers are light commercial vehicle brands from America, Europe, Southeast Asia, Japan, etc. We will start mass producing the ongoing orders, and the Orders will be visible until the third quarter of 2023. LSC has successfully developed the technology to implement intelligent electrification for vehicles. With ELECTRICORE® and the business model of System as a Service, automobile manufacturers can build their products on the platform. Product performance can be optimized by combining the specifications of each component. In addition, diversified system integration solutions can be provided in response to different demand scenarios.
