The Pied Piper Nursery Team with donations

Submitted by CC Nurseries

Parents of a local kindergarten donate to support the local food banks during the festive period.

The Pied Piper Nursery in Glasgow, part of the CC Nurseries Group, raised donations last month as part of a national campaign.

Parents and families at the Shawlands neighborhood kindergarten donated dry goods, canned goods and festive treats throughout the month to support other local families in December.

In addition to donations from kind-hearted parents, the Pied Piper Team was able to “fill up” the goods with popular Christmas favorites from selection boxes to crackers and more thanks to a donation from CC Nurseries.

Donations were collected on Monday, December 6th, by a team member at the Trussell Trust for Rutherglen and Cambuslang.

Carrie Lloyd, Pied Piper Nursery Manager, said, “We are so proud of our nursery family that they are digging deep this Christmas and helping others through difficult times.

“It is part of our vision and our values that our children learn more about their communities and the world. We look forward to continuing to work in our local communities in 2022. “
